History of DAIA

Development Association for Integrated Activity (DAIA) had been registered under Socities Act 27 of 1975 at Tuticorin on 3rd October 2002. DAIA works at Tuticorin as its base which is located at the state of Tamilnadu, India for the past 16 years. It is lead by Mrs.Jeya Gell Joseph. They contribute to people living with HIV/AIDS care and support activities in and around Tuticorin, through medical camp in addition to home visits, counselling and strengthening the

people Living with HIV/AIDS, they take special care of the orphan and needy vulnerable children (OVC) that includes providing children with donated gift boxes specifically for children. In 2016, DAIA partnered with Samaritan’s Purse with likeminded and trustworthy India volunteers to distribute the gift boxes filled with fun things for needy children free of charge and without consideration of caste, nationality and religion. Our first areas for distribution were in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Jharkhand
